In Japan, there has been a concept of “Kotodama” (the spirit of words) since around 700 AD, and it is said that power resides in the “word” itself. Calligraphy is not only the art of the line, but also the activity of discovering the “value” of words for oneself by selecting, writing, and placing words close to one’s heart. In the workshop, we invite you to explore the words that bring joy and smiles to your life. 1.) Select one Kanji character.Choose your favorite letter from the prepared example. 2.)
