Calligraphy is not only the art of the line, but also the activity of discovering the “value” of words for oneself by selecting, writing, and placing words close to one’s heart. The characters in seal script represent words that come to mind from life in the port city and the creatures of the Port of Nagoya Aquarium.The seal script is the oldest of the typefaces in use today and is used primarily in seals. The 73rd Chunichi Calligraphy Exhibition

From June 26 to June 30, 2024, Mori’s works were exhibited at the Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art Gallery (Aichi Prefectural Center for Arts and Culture 8F). This is a poem by Wang Wei (669-761). It is said to be one of the favorite poems of Li Guonian, a famous actor whom Du Fu met in Hunan in the last year of his life after his wandering.
